I have been noticing someone visiting this blog often from what is sometimes listed as Paderborn, Nordrhein-Westfalen, or sometimes as Oldenburg, Niedersachsen in Germany. (Sitemeter/Feedjit have their own ways of looking at Geography)
Coincidentally, we have been looking from someone from Paderborn, who came to India and spent a year here. This person returned to the University at Paderborn in the early 90's.

Kavi Actually I am amazed at the laxity, with which the thing in my sidebar interprets latitudes etc. It shows you as having visited from Secunderabad.(I checked the comment timings against the Feedjit thing) Unless, of course, you are really there :-)

ReplyDeleteSometimes visitors have different IPs on pupose- an online friend of mine would have an IP showing her to be in a different country when she logged in from her office computer.
She told me the office did this on purpose for security reasons ( which I, being technologically challenged, do not understand!).
